Take this year to truly learn all aspects of color: pigments,
mixing, theory, application
and terms. Get color smart! Each
week will feature a significant color topic and include
quick studies and a painting project to illustrate
the concepts taught. Project categories
will be varied, fun and intersting. Don't
stay away because the project isn't your favorite
subject--come practice the color information and
then take it home to apply to your own
paintings.
Students may duplicate the demonstration painting, change it somewhat
to make it their
own, or bring in their own topic-related
reference material and work at their own pace.
You can sign up for classes individually as your schedule
permits, or take all the classes
and complete your own color reference
notebook. Be the color expert on your block!

a fully
illustrated down-loadable PDF file or as a
printed handout. If you have to miss
a class you can make it up at home at your

Classes meet
weekly, are 3 hours long and

You may mix class times and
locations to fit your schedule. The same lesson is
taught in all four locations each week unless
a class is cancelled due to snow.
Tuition is
$30 per class
(The class fee can be
refunded or transferred to another class until one week before
class. It is
refundable after that only if you or I can find a replacement for your
spot.
